At this time, I'd head for the Oak Island pier and take a stroll on the boardwalk. Afterwards, it's time for a swim!

In the early evening it is fun to go to the park and play some tennis. They have four nice courts and there is usually an empty one.

Oak Island is truly a beach bum's paradise. Everything is reasonably priced but what's even better is there is so much to do for free!
